First of all, how are we even talking about Christmas shopping? Wasn’t it summer like 10 seconds ago? If you’re anything like me you have great intentions for holiday shopping and then all of a sudden it’s the second week of December and you’re in a panic about what to get everyone. But not this year, friends…. NOT. THIS. YEAR! I’ve compiled a list of 10 items, perfect for the working mom – specifically the teacher mom. It’s not small feat that teacher moms spend all day in the classroom with children and then come home to their own and are expected to have just as much patience and energy as they did all day long.
The great thing about this guide is that it’s not only perfect for the teacher mom in your life, it’s also perfect for your kiddos teachers as well. I chose these gifts as my top 10 because they fall into 1 of 2 categories; either they make life easier or they are relaxing.

Don’t laugh! I know it looks ridiculous but once you’ve put this thing on your shoulders you’ll eat your words. It’s pretty standard for teachers to experience foot and lower back pain from standing all day but one overlooked area are the neck and shoulders. Many women carry stress in these extremities and sitting with this neck massager at the end of the week catching up on Grey’s is just what the doctor ordered!
Some days, there are screaming children everywhere. Screaming children at work and then more screaming children at home. Do not be afraid to get your teachers wine. If you know your favourite teacher mama drinks… pass the wine! I have never been mad at a bottle of wine (unless it’s empty). I also like these silicone wine glasses because my children are tornados and destory everything in their path.
The adult version to one of my favourite childhood books? Yes please. Everyone needs a good laugh!
This set includes Twilight Shower Gel and Sleepy Lotion. Both contain lavender with a mix of other scents aimed at relaxing the body.
Crock-Pot 2.5 Qt, Daisy Pattern
I finally returned to the classroom last week and failed to plan dinner for that night so we ended up through the drive-thru. A slow cooker is your best bet for a set it and forget it dinner that will be ready when you walk in the door.
Monbento Lunch Containers
I’m a sucker for a cute lunch container and I love how compact these Monbento lunch containers are. You can get them in a variety of colours and they’re super chic.
Organization is key for any mom but a great planner can do double duty for the teacher mom. A planner with lots of space can be utilized for school lessons and home priorities. Some teacher moms love having separate planners but I’m a hoarder of sorts so having 1 planner simplifies my already crazy life.
Sometimes after a long day, all I want is to ignore everyone! #SorryNotSorry. I love having wireless headphones so that I can listen to a book while I’m cleaning or listen to music that has a whole bunch of swear words in it… ‘cause sometimes a mama needs a few choice adult words to make her feel better.
At Home Meal Delivery
Whether you choose Chef’s Plate, Blue Apron, Hello Fresh or any other meal delivery service, they all come in clutch when meal planning for the week. We get a Chef’s Plate box every week and it takes the guess work out of dinner. I choose the meals the week before and when it arrives, I follow the recipe card and we have a delicious meal on the table in 30 minutes. It also encourages us to try new things. I end up making most recipes again since you get to keep the card.
